Check Layout Consistency


ARDS has powerful feature "Check Layout Consistency". When somebody try to run Layout in "Execution" or "Simulation" modes, Application
is checking Layout settings, and Controls settings. If any error or warning happened, warning message similat to below will be shown.



When we are following suggestion, and choose "Check Layout Consistency" menu,



"ARDS - Check Layout Consistency" window will be opened.



Click "Check" button, and wait for few seconds while ARDS will make checkings. "ARDS - Check Layout Consistency" window can looks like:



Rules are:

  • All errors must be fixed
  • Most warnings must be fixed. Acceptable warnings are: "... Control Type: Route Exit. Control Name:... Exit Connection is not connected."

  • When errors and messages are fixed, "ARDS - Check Layout Consistency" window can looks like:



    And now, if right-click on Layout, choose "Simulation" menu,



    click "Yes" button on next Message window,



    click "OK" button on ARDS - Enter Simulation Mode window,



    Application will make nesessary checkings, and if these checkings are OK, Application will jump into "Simulation" mode.
