Accumulative Tracks

Signalig Routes are restrict to have more than one occupancy on Tracks and Switches, i.e. only one Train occupied particular Track or Switch per time.
But, in some situations we want to have more than one Train on Track. This situation is very common in streetcars Yards. When streetcars arrive to Yard
after shift is finished, they can be moved to special Track, where thay stay one by one until new shift is begin. For sitituations such us described above,
ARDS is using "Accumulative" Tracks.

To setup Accumulative Track, one should foollowing next rules:

  • Accumulative Track must be plased between two Signalling Routes
  • When Track is added to Layout, check-box "Is Accumulative Track" in it's Properties window must be checked
  • Accumulative Track must have Route Exits on both sides
  • Accumulative Track cannot be a part of any Signalling Routes

  • Below video is shown how "Accumulative" Track is set in ARDS, and how it works.
