Controls Overview


ARDS used next controls for Layouts:

  • Timers
  • Tracks
  • Switches
  • Switch Locks
  • Power Lines
  • Signals
  • Digital Indicators
  • Crossing Gates
  • Exit Pads
  • Labels
  • Buttons
  • Lines
  • Route Exits


    • Each control has its own properties, which can be easily set by using Control Properties form.

    User can add/remove any Control to/from Layout, change Control's size and position, flashing rate, etc.

    All Controls, except Timers, Train IDs, and Route Exits have set of Conditions (or statuses, aspects).
    Some Conditions are required Variable "attached" to this Condition, some Conditions are not.
